Twizzle

Twizzle is an interaction design piece as an enrichment and experimental device for the bonobos. Aimed to exercise and improve their cognitive abilities. Twizzle can help researchers conduct experiment on bonobos' cognitive abilities with shape, color and spacial reasoning.

Designed to bridge enrichment and research together by improving bonobo’s welfare in captivity.

Challenge:

  • Create for non-human users that cannot articulate thier needs in the traditional way of communication.

  • Conducting controled experiments that can provide accurate data.

  • Keep a professional, objective, and ethical practice when interacting with animals

  • Not imposing human point of view during the process of design.
